The bikes fixed and we're on our way to México ye ha
A couple of the local guys. We crossed the border yesterday early to avoid the bad guys with guns, haven't seen any yet, only seen the locals who are very friendly.
The hotel in Creel, a small Mexican town, this is the real Mexico I love it.
Copper Canyon, four times bigger than Grand Canyon inhabited by the Tarahumara Indians.
A high plain, very green, today we rode the best roads I've ever ridden, 200 miles of twists and turns. Tonight we have to stay in the hotel after dark, because we are staying in a dangerous place Dickie tells us.

On the way to Tucson our stopping off place to Mexico, we travel down the road that everybody asks if thats where your going, if you tell them your riding through America.
A little bit off camera theft, thats Gary, he's a maggie, hence the grin!
Real Cactus, we really are heading South.
Oh no! my bikes broke, the clutch slave cylinder has failed so I'm in the van for the next few days, we're having the bikes services in Tucson so should be able to get it fixed there.
Not to worry I'll take this one!
Deceided to take up flying again, this one suites me fine, and it is a real plane.
The bone yard in Tucson. The USAF base where the have over $30 billion worth of aircraft mothballed. Amazing. We're off to Mexico tomorrow when the journey really begins

Monument Valley and Grand Canyon
Monument valley. We rode out in the dark to see the sun rise beautiful
A view of Monument Valley from the visitors centre
Sun rise
The log cabin I am staying at in Jacobs Lake
The Grand Canyon, the photos won't do it justice, I never use the word Awesome, but this place is awesome
Another self portrait
One foot on the edge, its about a 300 ft drop at this point, I didn't hang around to long.

Living the American Dream
Living the American dream, doing as the natives do, no helmet bandanna, cruising along, actually we where in a National Park the speed limit is 35 mph so I thought I'd take a chance.
Riding over Red Mountain Pass 11'000 feet
We meet a friendly trucker, all the Americans we meet are very friendly and are always stopping us to ask about our trip, we even had a guy buying us drinks the other night!
Where four states meet, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico, a limb in each state.
The top of the Moki Dugway

Vernal to Moab
Entering our fifth state Colorado although we only make a short trip into Colorado today, but we will visit it again soon.
Some more fanatastic scenary, riding through a valley towards Moab
Gary and Mark pointing at Peter I think.
Another self portrait, I'm not enjoying it honest!
Met a Nam Vet on the road, he was on a Harley, most US biker are. Everywhere we go, when people see the bikes and our registration plates they want to talk to us.
Following another off road trail to Fishers towers.

Cody the home of William Cody also known as Buffalow Bill
Managed to get a pic of us white water rafting
Went to the rodeo in Cody this is the only picture I managed to get. A great night, the most amazing thing was the young girls riding adult size horses as if they'd been doing it all their lives, which they probably have been.
The bar in the Irma hotel which was owned by Buffalo Bill, this is the original bar. The bar itself is made from a single piece of wood.
More outstanding scenery
Entering our forth US state Utah, we really are deep in the US now, the people are so friendly, when they see our GB number plates they come over and talk to us, most are amazed when we tell them where we are going.

Yellowstone National Park
Entering Yellowstone National Park, we went white water rafting this morning but I didn't take my camera, but that was great fun, 8 miles down the Yellowstone river.
One of the local big boys. Bison are everywhere and they are a size,
The Yellowstone Grand Canyon
More of the Canyon
Inside the Lobby of the Old Faithful Inn, a spectacular place all built in wood, apparently there is a fifteen month wait to book rooms here, and yep this is were we are staying tonight.
The Old Faithful gyser named because it goes off every one and a half hours, this picture was taken from the hotel verander.
A local shop on the road to Cody
Oh dear!
Even the Chipmonks are friendly
We've now left Montana and have entered Wyoming, staying in Cody, the home of William Cody also known as Buffalo Bill.
