Vernal to Moab
Entering our fifth state Colorado although we only make a short trip into Colorado today, but we will visit it again soon.
Some more fanatastic scenary, riding through a valley towards Moab
Gary and Mark pointing at Peter I think.
Another self portrait, I'm not enjoying it honest!
Met a Nam Vet on the road, he was on a Harley, most US biker are. Everywhere we go, when people see the bikes and our registration plates they want to talk to us.
Following another off road trail to Fishers towers.

Cody the home of William Cody also known as Buffalow Bill
Managed to get a pic of us white water rafting
Went to the rodeo in Cody this is the only picture I managed to get. A great night, the most amazing thing was the young girls riding adult size horses as if they'd been doing it all their lives, which they probably have been.
The bar in the Irma hotel which was owned by Buffalo Bill, this is the original bar. The bar itself is made from a single piece of wood.
More outstanding scenery
Entering our forth US state Utah, we really are deep in the US now, the people are so friendly, when they see our GB number plates they come over and talk to us, most are amazed when we tell them where we are going.

Yellowstone National Park
Entering Yellowstone National Park, we went white water rafting this morning but I didn't take my camera, but that was great fun, 8 miles down the Yellowstone river.
One of the local big boys. Bison are everywhere and they are a size,
The Yellowstone Grand Canyon
More of the Canyon
Inside the Lobby of the Old Faithful Inn, a spectacular place all built in wood, apparently there is a fifteen month wait to book rooms here, and yep this is were we are staying tonight.
The Old Faithful gyser named because it goes off every one and a half hours, this picture was taken from the hotel verander.
A local shop on the road to Cody
Oh dear!
Even the Chipmonks are friendly
We've now left Montana and have entered Wyoming, staying in Cody, the home of William Cody also known as Buffalo Bill.

Leaving Canada and entering the good old USA Montana
This is the biggest truck in the world, although we all think there is probably a bigger truck now, its still big though
The cliffs at Head Smashed in Buffalo, a sight where the native Indians used to kill Buffalo by running them off the cliffs
The lake at Waterton National Park, the building in the distance is the Prince of Wales hotel
Waterton National park Canada, where wild Deer roam the streets, you can actually stroke them, Waterton is another beautiful place, if your ever in Southern Canada, I would reckon a visit here.
We are now in the USA, Montana, riding the "Road to the Sun" in the pic is Richard, Drew, myself and an English brother and sister who are cycling around the USA.
Self portrait
Spectacular road and valleys, so far we've been on the road for three weeks and have covered over 4000 miles and surprisingly my bums still ok, settling into riding, drinking, eating and sleeping in that order.

The 2011 Transamerican team
Me but most of you know that, but there are some people following the blog who don't know me.
Richard our Great leader, he has a sausage for a bottom lip
Brenden "The Van Man" its amazing what he can do with a bottle jack and a hammer!
Gary retired police officer and a magpie, but I won't hold that against him.
Peter my room mate, From Northern Ireland a retired &£$$**$ man
Drew "The Drewster" Ex Army, and Fire brigade medic, good man to have following you.
Mark Mechanical engineer, dosen't suffer fools, bit like some one else I know! eh Jan
Darren from Australia, seasoned traveller, keeps a constant speed wether on tarmac, mud or gravel.
Tim from Southern Ireland says he's a builder, probably owns Taylor Wimpey
Peter the dentist, is a mind of information, the only rider carrying a pillion.
Rhonda the pillion, obviously Peter's wife, keeps him in check.
Liz a retired (she didn't say) but the only female rider doing the whole trip.
Dave another mechanical engineer, keeps losing his under pants.
And last but certainly not least Martin and old bugger (his description not mine) who likes riding motorbikes.
