All comments will be greatly welcomed. Thanks all. PS having a great time, but I am missing Mrs V a little bit,

Maccu Picchu

Maccu Picchu, its all been said before, Google it, they will describe it better than I can. An amazing place.

                                     Our guide JJ. Very knowledgable.

                                              JJ showing us a doorway.
Look how all the blocks fit together, all without using cement.
This stone faces North, South, East and West perfectly. The highest past facing South.
                                                 Another self portrate.

Riding the Northern Andes in Peru

The High Andes in Northern Peru, we are at something like 14000 ft ASL, the bikes are under powered because of the lack of air, but the onboard computer adjusts everything, and suddenly we are getting 500 miles to a tanks of fuel.
A view from one of our hotels, this is not one of the nicer places we have stayed!!
                                           My bike in the desert.
We arrive at the Nazcar lines, but you have to take a flight to see them, I don't bother, which turns out to be the right decision because nearly everybody that went were disappointed.
Just one of the many mountain roads we are riding, but you get the idea. The roads in Peru are fantastic and generaly well maintained.
                                                              That me!
Now I have to get this right, There are Llama, Alpaca and Vicuna. These are Vicuna.(I think)
                                        These are Alpaca.
And these are Llama. If I've got this wrong, then one of the nosey B@st$rds in the group will no doubt tell me!
                                 More switch backs, motorcycle heaven.
Forget the name of the town but a fantastic view.
Two local lads in their Sunday best.
A shot of my bike. In the back ground are some of the mountain terracing if you look closely. Tomorrow its Maccu Picchu. Watch this space.

Canyon Del Plato

Lunch stop before Canyon Del Plato
A local lady enjoys a break.
This is 60 miles of dirt and gravel road, just what the bikes are made for.

                                             A deserted street.
I was thinking of buying this one for a holiday home but it needs a little work.
A bit dirty from the days ride.

Peru and the nice police lady

Another nice policeman in the hotel car park.
                                           The desert in Peru.
Reed boats in Huanchaco, used by the local fishermen to catch their fish.
Now this was a bizarre incident, we were stopped by the police at the roadside, suddenly this woman police office comes bounding over to meet us.
She wanted to have her photograph taken with the bikes.
Suddenly she started my bike and off she went!
                                       Oh shit!! where's she going.
She clearly was enjoying herself, we couldn't get rid of her, but she was very friendly.

Equador to Peru

There's snow on them there hills, or it could be a volcano
Up in the Andes about 10'000 above sea level. The roads are fantastic.
                                        Another dirt track.
Having Lunch with Pete, Rhonda and Drew, in an Equadorian town.
                                        More of the Andes.
The shower head in our hotel, the black thing on the wall is a trip switch with bare wires! Not dangerous at all. Pete wouldn't use it the smelly bast@£d. It actually worked quite well. Not one of the better hotels we've stayed in.
This really is the wild west.

The border between Equador and Peru.
A desert road in Peru. Its amazing how the landscape changes as you cross from one country to the next.
